Mädchenakt. 1973. Bleistiftzeichnung auf Velin. 56 x 93,7 cm (57 x 94 cm). Signiert, datiert und betitelt. Unten links mit gezeichnetem Signet. - Etwas knichspurig. Leicht gegilbt. Verso umlaufend mit Montagespuren. Vereinzelt mit kleinen Fleckchen sowie leichten Griffspuren. Insgesamt gut. Ausgezeichnete, sehr filigrane Zeichnung mit schmalem Rand.

Ostdeutsche Kunst – Günter Glombitza studierte von 1961 bis 1966 an der Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst Leipzig, unter anderem bei Bernhard Heisig. Neben Malerei und Druckgrafik nimmt die Zeichnung einen wichtigen Platz in seinem Werk ein. Sein Zeichenstil ist von einer feinen, oft sparsamen Linienführung geprägt, die Figuren und Szenen nicht vollständig ausformuliert, sondern mit wenigen, sicher gesetzten Konturen und Schraffuren erfasst. Charakteristisch ist dabei eine stille, konzentrierte Bildwirkung zwischen genauer Beobachtung und freier Andeutung.

East German Art – Pencil drawing on woven paper. Signed, dated and titled. Signed with a drawn monogram. - Creased. Slightly yellowed. Traces of mounting all round verso. Occasional small spots and slight handling marks. Overall in good condition. An superb, very delicate drawing with a narrow margin. - Günter Glombitza studied at the Academy of Visual Arts in Leipzig from 1961 to 1966, under Bernhard Heisig, amongst others. Alongside painting and printmaking, drawing occupies an important place in his work. His drawing style is characterised by fine, often sparse lines, which do not fully define figures and scenes, but capture them with a few, confidently placed contours and hatching.
