Deutsche Nachkriegsmoderne – Enthält 110 von namhaften Künstlern an das Sammlerpaar Pötschke versandte Postkarten und Briefumschläge. 23 Karten mit eigenhändigen Zeichnungen, darunter u. a. von Elvira Bach, Uecker, Emil Schumacher, Paul Flora, Robert Indiana, Mordillo, Horst Janssen, Reiner Ruthenbeck, Erich Brauer, Wolfgang Hutter, Ottmar Alt, Emil Schumacher, Herman Nitsch, Max Weiler und K. O. Götz. Sämtliche Karten tragen persönliche Grußworte oder Unterschriften, darunter auch von Georg Baselitz und Maria Lassnig. Über Jahrzehnte wandte sich das Sammlerpaar mit der Bitte um einen kleinen persönlichen Gruß an Künstlerinnen und Künstler, die diesem Wunsch häufig mit großer Offenheit und individueller Gestaltung nachkamen. Dadurch entstand ein außergewöhnliches, ebenso persönliches wie kulturhistorisch reizvolles Zeitdokument.

Each signed or autographed, some with personal greetings. - Slightly toned in places. Corners minimally bumped. Occasional handling marks. Overall in very good condition. A splendid collection of highly personal documents with numerous artistic dedications. - Containts: 110 postcards and envelopes sent by renowned artists to the collectors Mr. and Mrs. Pötschke. Twenty-three cards feature original hand-drawn sketches, including examples by Elvira Bach, Uecker, Emil Schumacher, Paul Flora, Robert Indiana, Max Weiler. For more Information refer above. All cards bear personal messages or signatures, among them those of Georg Baselitz. Over several decades, the Pötschkes regularly asked artists for a small personal greeting, a request that was often met with remarkable generosity and individual creativity. The result is an exceptional collection of both personal and cultural-historical significance, offering a unique insight into the cordial exchanges between artists and collectors.
