Online - Moderne und zeitgenössische Kunst – Zeichnung aus dem Frühwerk des Hamburger Künstlers, der als Meisterschüler von Willy von Beckerath ausgebildet wurde. Nach längeren Reisen durch Frankreich, England und den Orient entwickelte er eine Bildsprache, in der sich Einflüsse des Surrealismus mit Elementen der Neuen Sachlichkeit verbinden.

Online - Modern and Contemporary Art – New Objectivity. - Gouache on vellum. Signed, dated and inscribed with the place of origin. Mounted in places. - Small holes in the corners from previous mounting, with slightly worn edges. Overall in very good condition, the colours are fresh. - Drawing from the early work of the Hamburg artist, who trained as a master student of Willy von Beckerath. Following extended travels through France, England and the Orient, he developed a visual language in which influences of Surrealism are combined with elements of New Objectivity.
