Der Hamburger Künstler Mac Kock wurde als Meisterschüler von Willy von Beckerath ausgebildet. Nach längeren Reisen durch Frankreich, England und den Orient entwickelte er eine Bildsprache, in der sich Einflüsse des Surrealismus mit Elementen der Neuen Sachlichkeit verbinden.

Partially mounted on a backing board. - Small holes in spots from previous mounting, handling marks, edges slightly rubbed, slight stains on the verso. Overall in very good condition, colours fresh. - An earth-toned, surrealist composition in vibrant watercolours. The Hamburg artist Mac Kock was trained as a master student of Willy von Beckerath. Following extended travels through France, England and the Orient, he developed a visual language in which influences of Surrealism are combined with elements of New Objectivity.
