Naturwissenschaften – Vollständige erste Ausgabe mit dem äüßerst seltenen dritten Band. - Nicht bei Nissen, BBI und Martini. - Durchgehend in Georgisch und Russisch, die ersten zwei Bände auch mit verkürztem englischen Text. Der dritte Band in verringerter Auflage als die ersten beiden Bände gedruckt. - Die Bände enthalten die in Georgien autochthonen Sorten sowie die aus Europa, Russland, der Krim, Armenen, Zenralasien und sogar Amerika importierten Sorten. - Das seltene Werk fiel nach der Hinrichtung des Politikers und Geiheimdienstlers Lawrentia Beria der Damnatio Memoriae zum Opfer. Aufgrund der Erwähnung Berias im Titel sowie des Vorworts des ersten Bandes wurden diese im Zuge der umfassenden Tilgung des historischen Andenkens teils komplett vernichtet. - Tls. minimal gebräunt. Insgesamt ein sehr gut erhaltenes Exemplar dieses seltenen Werks.

Natural Sciences – Pomology - 2 parts in 3 volumes. With numerous color plates. Canvas with cover and spine titles (rubbed and bumped). - Complete first edition with the extremely rare third volume. - Not listed in Nissen, BBI, or Martini. - Entirely in Georgian and Russian, the first two volumes also with abridged English text. The third volume was printed in a smaller edition than the first two volumes. - The volumes contain varieties native to Georgia as well as varieties imported from Europe, Russia, Crimea, Armenia, Central Asia, and even America. - This rare work fell victim to damnatio memoriae after the execution of politician and secret service agent Lavrentiy Beria. Due to the mention of Beria in the title and the foreword to the first volume, these were completely destroyed in the course of the comprehensive erasure of historical memory. - Some minimal browning. Overall, a very well-preserved copy of this rare work.
