Außer namhaften Werken schrieb R. als eifriger Mitarbeiter für die Wiener "Allgemeine Bauzeitung", für die Romberg'sche "Zeitschrift für praktische Baukunst" und die "Deutsche Bauzeitung", gelegentlich auch für die "Zeitschrift für bildende Kunst". - Unbeschnitten, Innendeckel angebrochen, Vorsatzblatt mit geklebtem Einriss, stellenweise etwas fleckig, teils stockfleckig.

Includes an index of architects, a chronological index, an index of names and places, and an alphabetical index of master builders. - ADB 28, pp. 778-780 - Rudolf R. Redtenbacher was renowned for his comprehensive works on art history and the philosophy of art. In addition to his well-known works, R. wrote as a keen contributor to the Viennese 'Allgemeine Bauzeitung', Romberg's 'Zeitschrift für praktische Baukunst' and the 'Deutsche Bauzeitung', and occasionally also for the 'Zeitschrift für bildende Kunst'. - Untrimmed, inner cover damaged, endpaper with a glued tear, slightly stained in places, some foxing.
