Die Architektur der italienischen Renaissance. Entwicklungsgeschichte und Formenlehre derselben, ein Lehr- und Handbuch für Architekten und Kunstfreunde. Frankfurt, Keller, 1886. XVI, 568 Seiten. 8° , Original Leinwand (etwas berieben und bestoßen).

Architektur – Seltene Original Ausgabe von 1886, nützlich wegen der zahlr. Register. Mit Register der Architekten, chronologisches Register, Namens- und Ortregister sowie alphabet. Register der Meister. - ADB 28, S. 778-780 - Rudolf R. Redtenbacher war bekannt für seine umfassenden kunstgeschichtlichen und kunstphilosophischen Werke. Außer namhaften Werken schrieb R. als eifriger Mitarbeiter für die Wiener "Allgemeine Bauzeitung", für die Romberg'sche "Zeitschrift für praktische Baukunst" und die "Deutsche Bauzeitung", gelegentlich auch für die "Zeitschrift für bildende Kunst". - Unbeschnitten, Innendeckel angebrochen, Vorsatzblatt mit geklebtem Einriss, stellenweise etwas fleckig, teils stockfleckig.

Architecture – A rare first edition from 1886, valuable for its numerous indexes. Includes an index of architects, a chronological index, an index of names and places, and an alphabetical index of master builders. - ADB 28, pp. 778-780 - Rudolf R. Redtenbacher was renowned for his comprehensive works on art history and the philosophy of art. In addition to his well-known works, R. wrote as a keen contributor to the Viennese 'Allgemeine Bauzeitung', Romberg's 'Zeitschrift für praktische Baukunst' and the 'Deutsche Bauzeitung', and occasionally also for the 'Zeitschrift für bildende Kunst'. - Untrimmed, inner cover damaged, endpaper with a glued tear, slightly stained in places, some foxing.

Framed tickets are shipped exclusively by a shipping company due to the risk of breakage. Postal shipping is only carried out at the express request and risk of the buyer.
