Album mit Entwurfszeichnungen. O. O. u. J. (Frankreich, ca. 1860er-Jahre). Mit ca. 80, davon einigen bezeichnetenm, Schmuckentwürfen in schwarzer Feder und Bleistift mit teils grauer Lavierung auf 69, meist kleinen Blättern verschiedener Größe und Papierart, diese montiert auf 49 weißen Blättern Vélin. Quer-8° (22,5 x 14,6 cm). Maroquinbd. d. Zt. mit dekorativer Gold- und Blindpräg. unter Einschluss von teils mehrfachen Filetenrahmen mit Rocaille-Dekor, sowie Flecht- und Rankenwerk, die Vorsätze aus blindgepr. gewachstem Buntpapier, umseitiger Goldschnitt (Rücken, Kapitale, Ecken und Kanten stärker, Deckel gering beschabt).

Kunstwissenschaften – Entzückendes Album mit detailliert und fein gezeichnten Originalentwürfen. - Abgebildet sind Ohrringe, Halsketten, Broschen, Anhänger etc., wenige davon sind zusätzlich mit Feder bezeichnet, meist mit Zahlen (Größen- bzw. Karat-Angaben) und beschreibendem Kurztext. - Einige wenige Blätter meist verso stellenweise gering stockfleckig, insgesamt wohlerhaltenes unikales Dokument französischer Joaillerie des Second Empire.

Science of Art – Jewellery. - A delightful album with detailed and finely drawn original jewellery designs, containing approx. 80 jewelry designs in black ink as well as pencil with some grey wash on 69, mostly small leaves of various sizes and paper types, these mounted on 49 white sheets of vellum. - The drawn specimen depict earrings, necklaces, brooches, pendants, etc., a few of which are additionally labeled with ink, mostly with numbers (size or carat weight) and a short descriptive text. - A few leaves, mostly on the verso, have some minor foxing. Overall, a well-preserved and unique document of French jewelry from the Second Empire.
