Wien und Leipzig, Gerlach und Wiedling, (1908-09). 67 S. Kl.-8°. Handgebundener schwarzer Kalbslederband mit blindgeprägter , quadrat. Titelvignette auf Goldgrund, verg. u. verz. RTitel sowie dreis. Goldschnitt.

II, 621. - Carl Otto Czeschka (1878-1960) galt als einer der herausragendsten Künstler der Wiener Werkstätte. - "Das vorliegende Büchlein wurde durch C. O. Czeschkas Ausstattung zum wohl bekanntesten der ganzen Reihe und gilt bis heute als ihr besonderes Prunkstück. Die Einheit von Buchschmuck, Typographie, Schmuckleistenumrahmung der einzelnen Seiten, die stilisierten Illustrationen mit ihrem leuchtenden Gold auf tief-mattem Schwarz sind ein Höhepunkt des Wiener Jugendstils in der Buchkunst." Hand-bound in black calfskin with a blind-stamped square title vignette on a gold background, gilt and decorated title, and triple gilt edges. - First edition. - Carl Otto Czeschka (1878-1960) was considered one of the most outstanding artists of the Wiener Werkstätte. - A very beautiful, unusual copy in a tastefully decorated hand-bound cover.

Framed tickets are shipped exclusively by a shipping company due to the risk of breakage. Postal shipping is only carried out at the express request and risk of the buyer.
