Jud. 17, S. 43-64. - Er übersetzte auf der Grundlage der traditionellen jüdischen Interpretationen. Als Philosoph versuchte er, jüdische Tradition und aufgeklärte Moderne zu verbinden, als Sprachwissenschaftler strebte er jedoch danach, die Schönheit der hebräischen Poesie im Sinne der jüdischen Tradition auch im Deutschen wiederzugeben. - Enthält: 1. Das Buch Daniel (neu revidirt). - 2. Das erste Buch der Chroniken. (und) Das zweite Buch der Chroniken. (neu rev.). - 3. Die Propheten (Hischea - Maleachi) mit Erläuterungen, dabei die letzten 4 ohne Erläuterungen, da sie keine besonderen Schwierigkeiten in der Worterklärung darbieten (siehe Anmerk. S. 188). - Teils etwas braun- bzw. feuchtigkeitsfleckig, die Propheten ohne S. 1/2, S. 3 etwas fleckig.

Jud. 17, pp. 43-64. - He translated on the basis of traditional Jewish interpretations. As a philosopher, he attempted to combine Jewish tradition and enlightened modernity, but as a linguist, he strove to reproduce the beauty of Hebrew poetry in the spirit of Jewish tradition in German as well. - Contains: 1. The Book of Daniel (newly revised). - 2. The First Book of Chronicles. (and) The Second Book of Chronicles. (newly revised). - 3. The Prophets (Hosea - Malachi) with explanations, the last 4 without explanations, as they do not present any particular difficulties in terms of word interpretation (see note on p. 188). - Somewhat brown or damp stained in places, the Prophets without p. 1/2, p. 3 somewhat stained.
