Moderne Literatur und Kunst – Eins von 400 nummerierten Exemplaren "Hors Commerce". - Prachtvolles und drucktechnisch aufwendiges Künstlerbuch des französischen Designers und Illustrators Paul Iribe. Bereits im Alter von 17 Jahren wurden seine Zeichnungen in bekannten französischen Zeitschriften präsentiert. Seine Kollaboration mit dem Modedesigner Paul Poiret präsentierte Zeichungen, die seiner Zeit bereits voraus waren und aufgrund seiner Popularität wurde Iribe 1919 von Cecil B. DeMille in Hollywood engagiert um Designs für seine Filme zu kreieren. Iribe war außerdem in einer Beziehung mit der bekannten Modedesignern Coco Chanel, mit der er ebenfalls einige Kollaborationen kreierte. - Ränder leicht gebräunt. Insgesamt gut erhalten.

One of 400 numbered copies 'Hors Commerce'. - A magnificent and technically elaborate artist's book by the French designer and illustrator Paul Iribe. His drawings were already being featured in well-known French magazines at the age of 17. His collaboration with fashion designer Paul Poiret featured drawings that were already ahead of their time, and due to his popularity, Iribe was hired by Cecil B. DeMille in Hollywood in 1919 to create designs for his films.
