Brevis Explicatio Sensus Literalis Totius S. Scripturae Ex Optimis Quibusque Auctoribus Per Epitomen Collecta. Mit prächtigem Holzschnitttiteldruck u. reichem Holzschnitt-Buchschmuck. Köln, Johann Kinckius, 1630. 12 Bll. 1115 S. Fol. Hldr. d. Zt. RVergoldung und goldgeprägtes RSchild sowie dreis. Rotschnitt (beschabt, berieben u. Ecken stark bestoßen, eine Fehlstelle Ecke Rückendeckel, Rücken und Gelenke dafür in einem guten Zustand).

Alte Drucke, Bibeln, Klassische Autoren in den Originalsprachen – Sehr seltene erste Ausgabe. - VD17 12:121094K - Nicht bei Brunet - Giovanni Stefano Menochio (1757-1655) war Professor der Heiligen Schrift und Moraltheologe in Mailand. Brevis Explicatio Sensus Literalis... war sein Hauptwerk und wurde nach seinem Erscheinen mehrfach aufgelegt und noch viele Jahre verbreitet und überarbeitet. - Vorwort weist einen durchgehenden Wasserfleck auf. Auch findet sich vereinzelt mal ein Wurmloch, insgesamt sind die Seiten jedoch in einem hervorragendem Zustand.

Prints before 1600, Bibles, Classics in Original Languages – Theology. - First edition with magnificent woodcutting title and rich woodcut-bookdecoration. Half lether of the time with back golding and gilded back shield (scraped, corners are demaged and one corner is defect, the spines and back is in a very good condition). - See GBV: 151731608. Very rare first edition. Giovanni Stefano Menochio (1757-1655) was professor of the Holy Scriptures and Moral Theologian in Milan. Brevis Explicatio Sensus Literalis... was his principal work, and after his publication it was published many times, and was revised and revised for many years. - Foreword has a continuous water spot. Also occasionally finds a wormhole occasionally, altogether the pages however are in an excellent condition.
