Einbände - Wappeneinband

Literatur des 17. bis 19. Jahrhunderts – Enthält: L'Office de la Quinzaine de Pasque, Latin-Francois (...) Mit einem gestochnen Frontispiz und einer Wappentitelvignette. Paris, Duc d'orleans, 1753. 1 Bl, XXXIV, 631 S., 2 Bll. 8°. - Mit hs. zeitgenössischem Besitzvermerk von Marie Du Loutret, 1761. - Prachtvoller Einband aus der Bibliothek von Ludwig Philipp II. Joseph, Herzog von Orléans. Obwohl er ein Mitglied der französischen Königsfamilie war, war er während der französischen Revolution Mitglied des Nationalkonvents und stimmte für das Todesurteil des Königs. - Einband leicht berieben und bestoßen. Insgesamt gut erhalten.

Literature of 17th to 19th Century – Wine-red leather binding with rich gilt decoration on the spine, gilt floral border frame and gilt edging, as well as gilt interior and standing edges and a central coat of arms supralibros by Louis Philippe Duc d'Orlèans. - Contains: as listed above. - With handwritten contemporary ownership note by Marie Du Loutret, 1761. - Magnificent binding from the library of Louis Philippe II Joseph, Duke of Orléans. Although he was a member of the French royal family, he was a member of the National Convention during the French Revolution and voted for the king's death sentence. - Binding slightly rubbed and bumped. Overall in good condition.

Framed tickets are shipped exclusively by a shipping company due to the risk of breakage. Postal shipping is only carried out at the express request and risk of the buyer.
