Contemporary vellum with handwritten title and decorative fillets, as well as corner fleurons and Spanish edges (stained, bumped). - Extremely rare. - With handwritten ownership note by German geographer and mathematician Georg Gottlieb Haubold. - Collection of posthumously collected letters by the French lawyer and Neo-Latin poet D. Bauldier (1561-1613). The letters, and especially his Latin poems, were celebrated for their great stylistic skill. - Rebound: Dominici Baudi. Orationes Quae Exstant Omnes, Ex Bibliotheca Jani Rutgers I. - With handwritten markings. Pages browned, slightly foxed. Overall, a well-preserved copy of this rare edition.
