Reich bestickter roter Samteinband mit punziertem, umseitigem Goldschnitt und Lwd. mit goldgepr. Titel und DVignette in Ldr. Kassette mit goldgepr. RTitel.

Buchwesen - Faksimileausgaben – Eins von 900 arabisch nummerierten Exemplaren. - Die Handschrift aus der vatikanischen Bibliothek wurde ursprünglich in der zweiten Hälfte des 15. Jahrhunderts für König Ferdinand I. von Neapel (1424-1494) oder seinen Sohn Johannes (1456-1485) angefertigt. Das Manuskript war an den Text Phainomena des antiken Dichters Aratos von Soloi (ca. 310-245 v. Chr.) angelehnt, welches lange als astronomisches Standardwerk in Europa galt. - Druckfrisches Exemplar.

Books on Books - Facsimile Editions – Facsimile edition of the illuminated manuscript Barb. lat. 76 from the Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana. Richly embroidered red velvet binding with embossed gold edging on the reverse side and gold-stamped title and vignette in leather. Leather box with gold-stamped title. - One of 900 Arabic-numbered copies. - The manuscript from the Vatican Library was originally produced in the second half of the 15th century for King Ferdinand I of Naples (1424-1494) or his son John (1456-1485). The manuscript was based on the text Phainomena by the ancient poet Aratus of Soloi (c. 310-245 BC), which was long considered the standard work on astronomy in Europe. - Freshly printed copy.

A pickup of this work is possible in our premises at Potsdamer Str. 16, 14163 Berlin by appointment. If you wish a shipment of the work, please contact us for a consultation and shipping calculation. Framed tickets are shipped exclusively by a shipping company due to the risk of breakage. Postal shipping is only carried out at the express request and risk of the buyer.
