Manuscripts – Prussia - Medical records of Friedrich Strauß (1786-1879), court chaplain, who was suffering from a fever, containing numerous signatures from members of the royal family and many other members of the nobility. - Contains partly detailed daily reports on his state of health and the medication administered, as well as a table documenting his sleep. Each day features numerous signatures of noble persons, some of which are repeated. Among them are: Princes Adalbert, Albrecht, Carl and Friedrich of Prussia, Privy Councillor Elias, M. von Hardenberg, Miss von Jasmund, Court Chaplain Krummacher, Major von Mosch, Pastor Overbeck, Baron von Rechenberg, Count von Redern, Privy Councillor von Salviati, Princess von Schönburg-Glauchau, Countess von Schwerin (née von Dönhoff), Court Chaplain Thielen, Count von Unruh, Major von Westphal, Dr Wichern, L. von Wildenbruch, Field Marshal von Wrangel, Her Majesty the Queen Dowager and many other princes, counts, court and privy councillors, chamberlains, preachers, professors, ministers, military officers, etc. - A few loose leaves, some with minor marginal wear and (ink) stains, otherwise overall well preserved.
