Lettres de Voyage. Nord-Express. Mit etwa 80 tls. ganzseitigen aquarellierten Originalzeichnungen. 1910. 2 Bll., 83 S. 4°. Rotes HLdr. mit goldgepr. RSchiden (berieben und bestoßen).

Manuskripte und Urkunden – Handschriftlicher Reisebericht einer Rundreise durch Nordeuropa. Die Erzählungen der Unternehmungen des Verfassers werden von kunstvoll angefertigten Aquarellen begleitet. Auf fast jeder Seite werden die Beschreibungen des Reisenden von kleineren bis größeren Aquarellen visuell unterstützt. Seine Reise führte ihn durch u.a. Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Kopenhagen, Stockholm, Göteborg, Hamburg und Berlin und er beschreibt im Detail welche Sehenswürdigkeiten er an jedem Tag besuchte. Die Aquarelle zeigen u.a. die Spanische Kade in Rotterdam, die Insel Marken in der Nähe von Amsterdam, Vor Frelsers Kirke in Kopenhagen, den Königspalast in Stockholm und den Reichstag in Berlin. - Ränder minimal gebräunt. Insgesamt sehr gut erhaltener und prachtvoll dekorierter Reisebericht.

Manuscripts – With approximately 80 full-page original watercolor drawings. Red half-leather binding with gilt spine labels (rubbed and bumped). - Handwritten travelogue of a tour through Northern Europe. The author's accounts of his adventures are accompanied by artfully executed watercolors. On almost every page, the traveler's descriptions are visually supported by small to large watercolors. His journey took him through, among other places, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Hamburg, and Berlin, and he describes in detail which sights he visited each day. The watercolors depict, among other things, the Spanish Quay in Rotterdam, the island of Marken near Amsterdam, St. Frelsers Church in Copenhagen, the Royal Palace in Stockholm, and the Reichstag in Berlin. - Edges minimally browned. Overall, a very well-preserved and magnificently decorated travelogue.

A pickup of this work is possible in our premises at Potsdamer Str. 16, 14163 Berlin by appointment. If you wish a shipment of the work, please contact us for a consultation and shipping calculation. Framed tickets are shipped exclusively by a shipping company due to the risk of breakage. Postal shipping is only carried out at the express request and risk of the buyer.
