Lizentiatsdiplom ("Litterae Licentiatus") für Kirchen- und Zivilrecht des Dekanats der juristischen Fakultät der Universität Paris, zuerkannt Jean-Joseph Gabriel Prudhomme. Lateinischer Vordruck in Antiqua mit Serifen auf Pergament (stw. gebräunt und etw. fingerfleckig), handschriftlich mit brauner und schwarzer Tinte ergänzt sowie mit 6 Unterschriften und zwei Stempeln versehen. Paris, 21. August 1753. Blattgröße 37,2 x 16 cm, Schriftspiegel 31,5 x 11,5 cm). Mit Wachssiegel (7 x 5 cm) der Universität Paris in mittels Textilband angebundener Metallschatulle (Siegel angestaubt, Schatulle punktuell korrodiert). Gefaltet.

Manuskripte und Urkunden – Lehr- und Graduierungsbefugnis für "in utroque iure", also für kanonisches sowohl als auch Zivilrecht, vollständig mit den üblichen Ausstattungsmerkmalen, Signaturen diverser Funktionsträger, Stempel und vor allem dem gut erhaltenen originalen Siegel. Der akademische Grad des Lizentiaten stand zwischen jenem des Bakkalaureus und des Magister bzw. Doktor. Ein Lizentiat durfte lehren, graduieren und disputieren.

Latin in Antiqua with serifs on parchment (slightly browned and somewhat finger-stained), supplemented by hand in brown and black ink, bearing 6 signatures and two stamps. Paris, 21 August 1753. Sheet size 37.2 x 16 cm, type area 31.5 x 11.5 cm). With wax seal of the University of Paris in a metal box tied with a textile ribbon (seal dusty, box corroded in places). Folded. - Teaching and graduation authority for 'in utroque iure', i.e. for both canon and civil law, complete with the usual features, signatures of various officials, stamps and, above all, the well-preserved original seal. The academic degree of licentiate was between that of bachelor and master or doctor. A licentiate was permitted to teach, graduate and dispute.
