Manuscripts – Thuringia - Liber amicorum containing 51 entries, 7 watercolours, 3 coloured copperplate engravings, 1 coloured lithograph and 2 locks of hair. Loose leaves (mainly approx. 10 x 16.4 cm) with gilt edges in a contemp. autograph book case. Gilt stamped half leather (slightly bumped, joints partly worn). In marbled dust jacket (torn at the joint) and cardboard slipcase (rubbed). - With entries from Berka, Eisenberg, Gera, Ilmenau, Oberneusulza, Ruhla, Tannroda, Thiemendorf, Weimar and others mostly by friends, among others, as listed above. - A watercolour depicting the kitchen garden near Gera. - Enclosed: a letter from a mother in Eisenberg to Cristel. - Browned due to paper, partly with brown spots and crease marks, otherwise overall well preserved.
