Gemälde, Zeichnungen u. Grafiken 16. bis 19. Jhd. – Bei unserer Ansicht handelt es sich um eine sitzende, weibliche Figur im Drei-Viertel-Profil, die den Rezipienten direkt anzublicken scheint. Das dargestellte Brustbild, die hochgeschlossene Kleidung, sowie die ruhige Ausstrahlung und der neutrale Hintergrund deuten auf die Zeit des Biedermeier hin. Die Schlichtheit der Darstellung lässt eine Fokus auf bürgerliche Tugenden und Seriosität vermuten.

Paintings, drawings and prints 16th to 19th century – Oil on canvas. - Craquelure, partial paint loss and abrasion along the edges. Varnished. Overall good condition. - The painting depicts a seated female figure in three-quarter profile who appears to be looking directly at the viewer. The bust portrait, the high-necked clothing, the calm aura and the neutral background all point to the Biedermeier period. The simplicity of the depiction suggests a focus on bourgeois virtues and respectability.
