Jhd. – Das vorliegende Gemälde stammt aus dem Frühwerk des Künstlers und zeigt ein für Bunke ungewöhnliches Motiv und fällt in eine zentrale Übergangsphase seines Schaffens, in der weniger die detailgenaue Wiedergabe im Zentrum steht, sondern die atmosphärische Wirkung von Licht, Luft und Bewegung. In freiem Duktus und toniger Farbigkeit widmet er sich der dynamischen Szenerie mit ihrem industriell geprägten Kontext, der in eine stimmungsgetragene Gesamtwirkung eingebunden wird. - Mit wenigen punktuellen, kaum merklichen Bereibungen. Insgesamt sehr gut und sauber, die Farbe mit frischer Wirkung.

Overall in very good condition and clean, the paint has a fresh appearance. - This painting dates from the artist's early period and depicts a subject that is unusual for Bunke, it belongs to a pivotal transitional phase in his career, in which the focus is less on meticulous detail and more on the atmospheric effect of light, air and movement. With a free brushstroke and earthy colours, he focuses on the dynamic scene with its industrial setting, which is woven into an atmospheric overall effect.
