Landschaften - Maritime Kunst

Gemälde, Zeichnungen u. Grafiken 16. bis 19. Jhd. – Provenienz: Berliner Privatbesitz. - Nikolaus Störtenbecker absolvierte zwischen 1960 und 1965 sein Studium an der Staatl. Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Hamburg und gilt als Gründungsvater der 1989 ins Leben gerufenen Gruppe der "Norddeutschen Realisten". Die Detailansicht des Segelmastes bei Tageslicht entstand möglicherweise en plein air während eines Symposiums der Gruppe.

Paintings, drawings and prints 16th to 19th century – Maritime Art. - Oil on hardboard. Monogrammed and dated. Overall very good condition, colours fresh. - Provenance: Berlin private collection. - Nikolaus Störtenbecker studied at the State College of Fine Arts in Hamburg between 1960 and 1965 and is considered the founding father of the 'North German Realists' group, which was established in 1989. The detailed view of the sail mast in daylight was probably created en plein air during a symposium held by the group.
