Jhd. – Privatsammlung, Norddeutschland. - Die auf dem vorliegenden Gemälde dargestellte Landschaft lässt sich mit ihren bewachsenen Dünen, der Berkette im Hintergrund und den hohen, schlanken Bäumen im südalpinen Raum verorten und zeigt einen einsamen Wanderer, der inmitten der wolkenverhangenen Landschaft seines Weges zieht. Mit teils lasierendem, teils stark pastosem Pinselstrich gelingt es dem Künstler, die regenfeuchte Natur und die gerade durchbrechende Sonne für den Betrachter spürbar zu machen. - Firnis leicht gegilbt, teils winzige, kaum merkliche punktuelle Fleckchen. Insgesamt sehr gut.

Overall very good.Private collection, Northern Germany. - The landscape depicted in this painting, with its overgrown dunes, the mountain range in the background and the tall, slender trees, can be located in the southern Alpine region and shows a lone hiker making his way through the cloud-covered landscape. With brushstrokes that are partly glazed and partly heavily impastoed, the artist succeeds in making the rain-drenched nature and the sun breaking through the clouds tangible for the viewer.
