Grimm) u. einem Blumenaquarell. Meist Marienberg, außerdem Leipzig, Neustadt an der Orla, Schleiz, Taubenheim bei Meißen u.a., 1819-1834. Ca. 126 Bll. Quer-Kl.-8° (11 x 17,5 cm). Ldr. d. Zt. mit dreis. Goldschnitt, RVerg., goldgepr. RSchild mit Namensvermerk, Goldbordüren u. Sternrosetten als DVignetten (etw. berieben).

Manuscripts – Saxony - Thuringia - Liber amicorum of Friedrich Wagner from Neustadt an der Orla. Contains 40 entries from the circle of the Lyceum at Marienberg, 30 coloured copperplate views (Leipzig, by Heinr. Grimm) and a watercolour of flowers. Contemp. leather with gilt edges, gilt-stamped spine and label with name inscription to spine, gilt borders and star rosettes as cover vignettes (slightly rubbed). - With entries mainly from Marienberg, also Leipzig, Neustadt an der Orla, Schleiz, Taubenheim near Meissen, etc. by: as listed above. - The copperplate engravings with small views (each 7.5 x 10 cm) of Leipzig (10), Dresden (5), Kriebstein, Meißen, Königstein, Naumburg, Jaxthausen, Hochheim near Mainz, London (2x) and others - The views partly discoloured (due to oxidised paint?), partly with some finger marks and brown spots, otherwise overall good condition.

A pickup of this work is possible in our premises at Potsdamer Str. 16, 14163 Berlin by appointment. If you wish a shipment of the work, please contact us for a consultation and shipping calculation. Framed tickets are shipped exclusively by a shipping company due to the risk of breakage. Postal shipping is only carried out at the express request and risk of the buyer.
