Stammbuch des J.F.L. v. Mülmann, u.a. aus seiner Studentenzeit. Mit ca. 58 Einträgen, 15 kol. gestoch. Abb., 1 kol. gezeichneten Plan von Marburg, 3 aquarellierten Zeichnungen (1 auf Pergament) u. 1 Gouache. Um 1750-1774. Quer-8°. Braunes, blindgepr. Pgt. d. Zt. mit Goldschnitt (leicht bestoßen, berieben).

Manuskripte und Urkunden – Laut spät. hs. Vermerken in Bleistift handelt es sich um Johannes Franciscus Ludovicus Mühlmann (*1732), der Hauptmann und Sekretär der Direktorialkanzlei zu Neuwied war. 1751 war er an der Uni Marburg u. 1752-1753 in Leipzig immatrikuliert. 1767 wurde er in den Reichsadelsstand erhoben. - Mit Einträgen u.a. aus Dierdorf, Dresden, Erfurt, Halle, Jena, Leipzig und Marburg von vorwiegend adeligen Kommilitonen und Standesgenossen sowie später in Neuwied von einigen militärischen Personen. Darunter ein seltener Eintrag des jung verstorbenen Dichters Johann Friedrich von Cronegk (1731-1758), seinerzeit bekannt durch sein preisgekröntes Trauerspiel "Codrus" sowie ein Gedicht des Bremer Schriftstellers und Predigers Johann Henrich Oest (1727-1777). - Des Weiteren: Giovanni Luigi Cherni, Ebbert aus Merseburg, E.L. von Finck aus Wien, von Gersdorff, Lieutenant von Green aus Mainz,Joh. Friedr. Gümbel, F.A. Lindemann aus Dresden, G.B. von Motzfeldt, Michael Jakob Petri (Crottorf, Amtsverwalter), Joh. Simon Schellwald, Peter Friedrich Ulrich (Spielkartenfabrikant), E.W. von Weberer, B. von Wentz aus Lahnstein, Comte de Werther, Einige Blätter fehlend, wenige Bll. tls. lose, papierbedingt gebräunt, tls. etw. fleckig, sonst insg. gut erhalten.
Manuscripts – Saxony - Rhineland-Palatinate, among others - Liber amicorum of J.F.L. von Mülmann, including entries from his student days. With approx. 58 entries, 15 colour engraved illustrations, 1 colour drawn map of Marburg, 3 watercolour drawings (1 on parchment) and 1 gouache. Contemp. brown, blind stamped vellum with gilt edges (slightly bumped, rubbed). - According to later handwritten notes in pencil, this is Johannes Franciscus Ludovicus Mühlmann (*1732), who was captain and secretary of the directorate office in Neuwied. He was enrolled at the University of Marburg in 1751 and in Leipzig from 1752 to 1753. In 1767, he was elevated to the rank of imperial nobility. - With entries from Dierdorf, Dresden, Erfurt, Halle, Jena, Leipzig and Marburg, among others, mainly from fellow students and peers of noble birth, and later in Neuwied from several military personnel. These include a rare entry by the poet Johann Friedrich von Cronegk (1731-1758), who died young and was known at the time for his award-winning tragedy 'Codrus', as well as a poem by the Bremen writer and preacher Johann Henrich Oest (1727-1777). - Furthermore: as listed above Giovanni Luigi Cherni, Ebbert from Merseburg, E.L. von Finck from Vienna, von Gersdorff, Lieutenant von Green from Mainz, Joh. Friedr. Gümbel, F.A. Lindemann from Dresden. - Some leaves missing, a few leaves partially loose, browned due to the paper, occ. slightly stained, otherwise overall good condition.

A pickup of this work is possible in our premises at Potsdamer Str. 16, 14163 Berlin by appointment. If you wish a shipment of the work, please contact us for a consultation and shipping calculation. Framed tickets are shipped exclusively by a shipping company due to the risk of breakage. Postal shipping is only carried out at the express request and risk of the buyer.
