Gemälde, Zeichnungen u. Grafiken 16. bis 19. Jhd. – Spätimpressionistische Darstellung einer idyllischen Uferlandschaft mir Schilf vor blauem Himmel. Winkler, der für seine süddeutschen Landschaftsmalereien bekannt ist, erzeugt in seinem Werk durch die flächige Ausführung des Himmel, den Pinselduktus und die natürliche Lichtstimmung einen Eindruck von Ruhe.

Framed in gold-coloured moulding. - Varnished and yellowed, as well as abrasion on the edges and pressure marks from the stretcher bars. Overall good condition. - Late Impressionist depiction of an idyllic riverside landscape with reeds against a blue sky. Winkler, who is known for his South German landscape paintings, creates an impression of tranquillity in his work through the flat execution of the sky and the natural lighting.
