Worpsweder Moorlandschaft. 1958. Öl auf Malkarton. 48 x 60 cm. Signiert und datiert, verso von fremder Hand gewidmet. Gerahmt. - An den Kanten mit leichtem Abrieb, sowie links am Rand mit einem kleinen Montageloch im Karton, verso atelierspuring und leicht braunfleckig.

Jhd. – Provenienz: Berliner Privatbesitz. - Udo Peters studiert in München an der Akademie bei Albert Weisgerber, einem ehemaligen Schüler von Franz von Stuck, Malerei. Der "Chronist von Worpswede" lässt sich 1908 in der niedersächsischen Gemeinde nieder, nachdem er den Ort 1906 erstmalig besucht. Unser Werk stellt eine charakteristische, expressionistische Landschaftsansicht Worpswedes dar, wie sie der Künstler Mitte des 20. Jahrhunderts in einer Vielzahl fertigte. Udo Peters wird nach Otto Modersohn der zweiten Generation der Worpsweder Künstler zugeordnet.
Paintings, drawings and prints 16th to 19th century – Oil on painting cardboard. Signed and dated, dedicated on the reverse by another hand. Framed. - Slight abrasion on the edges, as well as a small mounting hole in the cardboard on the left edge, studio marks and slight brown spots on the reverse. - Provenance: Private collection, Berlin. - Udo Peters studied painting in Munich at the academy under Albert Weisgerber, a former student of Franz von Stuck. The "chronicler of Worpswede" settled in the Lower Saxony community in 1908 after visiting the town for the first time in 1906. Our work depicts a characteristic, expressionist landscape view of Worpswede, as the artist produced many in the mid-20th century. Udo Peters is considered part of the second generation of Worpswede artists after Otto Modersohn.
