Jhd. – Hans Klatt war ein deutscher Landschaftsmaler, dessen Werke sich durch eine atmosphärische und detailreiche Darstellung von Natur und Landschaft auszeichnen. Sein Stil war stark von der Münchner Schule geprägt, die für ihre realistische und stimmungsvolle Malweise bekannt war. Nachdem Klatt von Franz von Stuck für die Akademie der Bildenden Künste empfohlen worden war, absolvierte er dort sein Studium bei Karl Raupp und Otto Seitz. Ab ca. 1900 war Klatt als freiberuflicher Kunstmaler tätig und stellte sein Werk in zahlreichen Ausstellungen aus. Inhaltlich spezialisierte er sich auf Fluss- und Seenlandschaften, insbesondere Motive aus Bayern, der Nord- und Ostseeküste sowie aus Oberitalien und Holland. Seine Werke zeigen oft ruhige, idyllische Szenen mit einer harmonischen Farbgebung und einem besonderen Gespür für Lichtverhältnisse. Er verstand es, Stimmungen einzufangen - sei es das neblige Morgenlicht über einem Fluss, die reflektierende Wintersonne auf einem gefrorenen See oder die sanften Pastelltöne eines Frühlingshimmels. Unser Werk zeigt eine idyllische Alpenansicht zu Pfingsten mit blühenden Obstbäumen auf einer blumenbewachsenen Wiese. - Punktuell einige winzige Fleckchen. Der Firnis partiell und kaum merklich gegilbt. Insgesamt sehr gut. Die Farbe frisch und leuchtend.

Framed in a gold-coloured stucco frame. - Hans Klatt was a German landscape painter whose works are characterised by an atmospheric and detailed depiction of nature and landscape. His style was strongly influenced by the Munich School which was known for its realistic and atmospheric style of painting. After being recommended to the Academy of Fine Arts by Franz von Stuck, Klatt studied there under Karl Raupp and Otto Seitz. From around 1900 he worked as a freelance painter and exhibited his work in numerous exhibitions. Klatt specialised in river and lake landscapes, in particular motifs from Bavaria, the North Sea and Baltic coasts as well as northern Italy and Holland. His works often depict tranquil, idyllic scenes with harmonious colours and a special feel for lighting conditions. He understood to capture moods - be it the misty morning light over a river, the reflecting winter sun on a frozen lake or the soft pastel colours of a spring sky. Our work shows an idyllic view of the Alps at whitsun with blossoming fruit trees in a flower-covered meadow. - A few tiny spots in places. The varnish partially and barely noticeably yellowed. All in all very good. Colours fresh and luminous.
