Gemälde, Zeichnungen u. Grafiken 16. bis 19. Jhd. – Richard Bloos studierte Anfang des Jahrhunderts an der Kunstakademie Düsseldorf Malerei und verbrachte von 1906 bis 1914 acht Jahre in Paris. Die Einflüsse des französischen Impressionismus finden sich auch im Pinselduktus, der Lichtführung und Pastosität unseres Werkes wieder, welches vier Jahre nach seinem Aufenthalt entstand. Dargestellt ist eine männliche Figur im Dreiviertelprofil mit Bart vor rotem Grund, den Blick dem Betrachtenden zugewandt.

Overall very good condition, colours fresh. - Richard Bloos studied painting at the Düsseldorf Art Academy at the beginning of the century and spent eight years in Paris from 1906 to 1914. The influences of French Impressionism can also be seen in the brushwork, the use of light and the impasto of our work, which was created four years after his stay. It depicts a male figure in three-quarter profile with a beard against a red background, looking towards the viewer.
