Overall in very good condition, with fresh colours and lively brushwork. - This colourful floral still life exemplifies Hans Buchner's preoccupation with decorative natural motifs within Munich still life painting of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. In a dense composition, the artist combines various garden flowers into a carefully arranged bouquet, whose luminosity is particularly emphasised by the dark background.
