Gemälde, Zeichnungen u. Grafiken 16. bis 19. Jhd. – Kupferstich nach einer Darstellung aus Albrecht Dürers 36 -Teiligen Zyklus der Kleinen Passion (um 1511). Die Komposition folgt in Figurenstellung und Motivdetails eng der Dürer'schen Vorlage und ist eine Reproduktionsgrafik des 16. Jahrhunderts. Insbesondere in Italien übten Dürers Werke erheblichen Einfluss auf die Entwicklung der Druckgrafik aus. Aufgrund der stilistischen Nähe zu bekannten Nachstichen ist eine Entstehung im Umkreis von Marcantonio Raimondi denkbar, der für seine Nachstiche bekannt ist.

Magnificent, rich engraving in a delicate design. - Copperplate engraving based on an illustration from Albrecht Dürer's 36-part cycle of the Small Passion (around 1511). The composition closely follows Dürer's original in terms of figure placement and motif details and is a 16th-century reproduction print. Dürer's works had a considerable influence on the development of printmaking, particularly in Italy. Due to its stylistic similarity to well-known re-engravings, it is conceivable that it was created in the circle of Marcantonio Raimondi, who is known for his re-engravings.
