Hollstein 2. - Charakteristisches Blatt von Jan Boths mit einer auf dem Maultier reitenden Frau, begleitendet von weiteren Figuren in einer uppigen, italienischen Ideallandschaft. Die fein aufgebaute Komposition und die stimmige Verbindung von Figurenzug und Naturraum verleihen dem Blatt seinen landschaftlich reizvollen Charakter. - Aus der Folge der Vier italienischen Landschaften im Hochformat. - Dezent knickspurig. Vereinzelt kleine Braunflecken. Insgesamt sehr gut. Hervorragender, gratiger Druck mit Rand.

With watermark. - A characteristic print by Jan Boths depicting a woman riding a mule, accompanied by other figures in a lush, idealised Italian landscape. The finely crafted composition and the harmonious interplay between the figures and the natural setting lend the print its scenic charm. - From the series of Four Italian Landscapes in portrait format. - Cf. Hollstein 2. - Slight crease marks. Isolated small brown spots. Overall very good. Superb, burr-like impression with margin.
