Gemälde, Zeichnungen u. Grafiken 16. bis 19. Jhd. – Provenienz: Berliner Privatbesitz. - Akademische Studie eines männlichen Aktes, die stilistisch der Münchener Schule des späten 19. Jahrhunderts zuzuordnen ist. Die realistische, detailgetreue Wiedergabe des Körpers mit Fokus auf Muskulatur und Knochenstruktur war ein Bestandteil der Ausbildung an der Königlichen Akademie der Bildenden Künste in München. Das außerordentlich großformatige Papier lässt hier eine fast lebensgroße Abbildung des männlichen Körpers zu.

Unopened. - Paper browned and particularly scuffed at the upper left corner and edges. - Provenance: Berlin private collection. - Academic study of a male nude, stylistically attributable to the Munich School of the late 19th century. The realistic, detailed reproduction of the body with a focus on musculature and bone structure was part of the training at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. The extremely large-format paper allows for an almost life-size depiction of the male body.
