Die prachtvoll kolorierten Tafeln zeigen die Paare in der für die Zeit typischen Mode, jeweils begleitet mit einem Text über den jeweiligen Herrscher und tls. der unter dem Portrait gedruckten Unterschrift. Unter den Herrschern sind Johann Friedrich II., Friedrich Wilhelm und Ernst der Fromme. - Tafeln größtenteils montiert. Stockfleckig, Ränder tls. gebräunt. Vereinzelt mit hs. Anstreichungen. Insgesamt gut erhalten.

The magnificently colored plates show the couples in the fashion typical of the time, each accompanied by a text about the respective ruler and, in some cases, the signature printed below the portrait. Among the rulers are Johann Friedrich II, Friedrich Wilhelm, and Ernst the Pious. - Plates mostly mounted. Stock stains, margins partly browned. Occasional handwritten markings. Overall in good condition.
