Geography and Travel – Niagara Falls. - Water-colour on two joined leaves of machine-made paper, fully mounted on linen. Approx. 21.5 x 106.6 cm. - A large-format, painterly watercolor of what are arguably the world's most famous waterfalls. The untitled depiction is a stylized close-up on the water, heading towards the precipice, with woodlands in the background under a partly cloudy sky, and a few houses to the right. The edges, especially on the left and right, have some minor losses, a few small tears along the edges, and the colors are slightly rubbed in a few places. Otherwise, the work is in good condition, the colors are vibrant.
