English document manuscript in black ink on roughened parchment, with decorated incipit supplemented by coat of arms, 6 (three repeated) signatures, 3 figurative wax seals and 3 value stamps (2 of which are glued and 1 stamped). Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, 19 December 1765. Approx. 62.5 x 78 cm. Folded. - Contract between John Fisher and his wife Anne Fisher on the one hand and Morris Barthard on the other. - With two signatures each from the Fishers and a notary. - Verso marked 'Further Security for 300 Pounds'. - Somewhat stained and dusty, overall a complete document in good condition.
