Heinz Schwiebert (Bremen). - Innendeckel mit Stempel der "Army Service Forces" mit beglaubigtem Besitzvermerk für Georg Nordmann. - Mit Widmung "in dankbarer Anerkennung für die im Dienste der Gemeinschaft geleisteten Arbeit" (Weihnachten 1944) von Hptm. Walter Stullmann(?) (Quedlinburg) sowie Widmungsblatt vom Präsidium des Deutschen Roten Kreuzes. - Die dppls. Karte zeigt "Unseren Weg nach den U.S.A. über: England (Schottland) - New-York, durch die Staaten: Pensylvanien, Ohio, Kentuky, Tennese, Alabama (Aliceville)". - 3 Bl. hs. Manuscripts – POW - World War II - Album belonging to Sergeant Major Georg Nordmann with 55 handwritten entries by German prisoners of war in the Aliceville camp (Alabama) and Fort Indiantown Gap (Pennsylvania) (3). With a coloured map and three coloured drawings. Contemp. half cloth. - With entries by, among others: as listed above. - Inside cover stamped with 'Army Service Forces' and certified ownership note for Georg Nordmann. - With dedication 'in grateful recognition for the work done in the service of the community' (transl.)(Christmas 1944) by Captain Walter Stullmann(?) (Quedlinburg) and dedication sheet from the Presidium of the German Red Cross. - The double-sided map shows 'Our route to the U.S.A. via: England (Scotland) - New York, through the states of Pennsylvania, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama (Aliceville)' (transl). - 3 sheets of handwritten notes enclosed. - Browned due to the paper, overall in good condition.

A pickup of this work is possible in our premises at Potsdamer Str. 16, 14163 Berlin by appointment. If you wish a shipment of the work, please contact us for a consultation and shipping calculation. Framed tickets are shipped exclusively by a shipping company due to the risk of breakage. Postal shipping is only carried out at the express request and risk of the buyer.
