Fauna insectorum Germanicae initia, oder Deutschlands Insecten. Heft 1-67 (v. 110) in 18 Bde. Mit einem gestochenen Titelblatt und 1605 miniaturhaft kolorierten Kupfertafeln von Jacob Sturm. Nürnberg, Felsecker, 1793 ff. Quer-12°. HLdr. mit goldgepr. RTitel (Rücken sonnengebleicht, tls. leicht fleckig und berieben).

Nissen, ZBI, 3084 - Mit Exlibris von Georg Frey und Herbert Frey, - Seltener, umfangreicher Teil des komplett kaum auffindbaren entomologischen Monumentalwerks über die Insekten Deutschlands, das Panzer (1755-1829) zwischen 1796 und 1813 in insg. 109 Heften mit 2640 Kupfertafeln herausgegeben hatte. Das abschließende Heft 110 von Carl Geyer erschien erst 1823. Später veröffentlichte Gottlieb August Herrich-Schäffer noch eine Fortsetzung mit den Heften 111-190. - Vereinzelt mit handgezeichneten, kolorierten Zusatztafeln. Ohne die Lieferungsumschläge. - Tls. leicht stockfleckig und mit hs. Annotationen. Insgesamt sehr gut erhaltene Exemplare - Dabei: Teuebrioniden ex Panzer. Fauna Ins. Germ. Mit 39 kolorierten Tafeln. Quer-12°. HLwd. mit goldgepr. RTitel (leicht berieben). - Einzelne Tafeln mit Textbaltt aus verschiedenen Heften. - Insgesamt gut erhalten.

Natural Sciences – Entomology - Volumes 1-67 (of 110) in 18 volumes. With an engraved title page and 1605 miniature-like colored copperplate illustrations by Jacob Sturm.Half leather with gold-stamped spine title (spine sun-bleached, partly slightly stained and rubbed). - Rare. - Horn-Sch. 16726 - Hagen II, 26f. - cf. Nissen, ZBI, 3084 - With bookplates by Georg Frey and Herbert Frey, - Rare, comprehensive part of the monumental entomological work on the insects of Germany, which is almost impossible to find in its entirety and which Panzer (1755-1829) published between 1796 and 1813 in a total of 109 issues with 2640 copperplate illustrations. The final issue, No. 110, by Carl Geyer, was not published until 1823. Gottlieb August Herrich-Schäffer later published a continuation with issues 111-190. - Occasionally with hand-drawn, colored supplementary plates. Without the delivery envelopes. - Some issues slightly foxed and with handwritten annotations. Overall, very well-preserved copies. - Included: Teuebrionidae ex Panzer. Fauna Ins. Germ. With 39 colored plates. Transverse 12°. HLwd. with gold-stamped title (slightly rubbed). - Individual plates with text sheets from various issues. - Overall, well preserved.
