Nissen, ZBI, 3084 - With bookplates by Georg Frey and Herbert Frey, - Rare, comprehensive part of the monumental entomological work on the insects of Germany, which is almost impossible to find in its entirety and which Panzer (1755-1829) published between 1796 and 1813 in a total of 109 issues with 2640 copperplate illustrations. The final issue, No. 110, by Carl Geyer, was not published until 1823. Gottlieb August Herrich-Schäffer later published a continuation with issues 111-190. - Occasionally with hand-drawn, colored supplementary plates. Without the delivery envelopes. - Some issues slightly foxed and with handwritten annotations. Overall, very well-preserved copies. - Included: Teuebrionidae ex Panzer. Fauna Ins. Germ.
