Lot 73 Günter Scharerin. Ohne Titel. 10.12.1978. …

Ohne Titel. 10.12.1978. Siebdruck auf MDF-Platte. 74,3 x 74 cm. Verso signiert und datiert. Im Künstlerrahmen montiert. - Leicht bestaubt. Vereinzelt leichte Druckstellen im oberen Motivbereich. Insgesamt sehr gut.

Concrete Art – Silkscreen print on MDF panel. Signed and dated on the reverse. Mounted in the artist's frame. - Slightly dusty. Occasional slight pressure marks in the upper part of the motif. Overall very good. Splendid work, with colour gradations. - The composition consists of vertical, closely spaced lines in varying colors that create an impressive visual effect: the image shifts between red, blue, violet, green, and other shades, developing a vibrant, almost moving surface. Scharein often uses the techniques of Op Art and color field painting in his works, focusing on the emotional impact of colors and their contrasts. The precise screening and application of paint create visual effects such as vibrations, flickering, and depth perception in the viewer-the image is never static, but plays with perception and movement. The austerity of the geometric forms is always combined with deep emotionality and subjective color choices. Scharein has been active since the 1970s and combines influences from the ZERO movement, color field painting, and Op Art with his own signature style. His works are included in important collections, such as the German Bundestag and the Daimler Art Collection.
