Konkrete Komposition. 1984. Acryl auf Leinwand. 111 x 91.5 cm. In Faserstift rückseitig auf dem Keilrahmen signiert und datiert "12.6.84". In Holzleiste gerahmt sowie unter Plexiglaskasten. - Sehr gut erhalten. Klare, auf wenige Formen reduzierte und doch ausgesprochen ausdrucksstarke Komposition.

Konkrete Kunst – Das Werk von Heinz Gruchot steht exemplarisch für die Prinzipien der Konkreten Kunst, wie sie seit den 1930er-Jahren von Künstlern wie Max Bill oder Richard Paul Lohse entwickelt wurden: Mit strenger Reduktion auf Linie, Fläche und Farbe verfolgt Gruchot eine objektive, konstruktive Bildsprache frei von Symbolik oder subjektivem Ausdruck. In der hier gezeigten Komposition lotet er mit wenigen präzise gesetzten farbigen Elementen auf der rohen Leinwand das Verhältnis von Raum, Rhythmus und Materialität aus und erreicht so eine visuelle Intensität, die gerade aus der Zurückhaltung und Klarheit der Mittel ihre Wirkung entfaltet.
