Kunstraum München, 1974. - Ulrich Rückriem entwickelte 1974 im Münchner Kunstraum ein streng konzipiertes Zusammenspiel von Skulptur und Zeichnung. In drei aufeinanderfolgenden Räumen ergänzte er gefundene Materialien - etwa Holz oder Stahl - durch identische Elemente zu geometrisch geschlossenen Formen. Diese skulpturalen Setzungen wurden in Zeichnungen weitergedacht: Rückriem abstrahierte die Grundrisse der Ausstellungsräume zu Quadraten und überlagerte sie mit Diagonalen und Kreisen. Aus dieser Analyse entstand die vorliegende Edition, die als konzeptuelles Resümee fungiert: Sie überträgt die räumlichen Interventionen in eine systematische Bildfolge, die den Prozess von Vermessung, Ergänzung und geometrischer Transformation nachvollziehbar macht und die formale Logik der Ausstellung in serieller Struktur weiterführt.

Kunstraum Munich, 1974. - In 1974, Ulrich Rückriem developed a rigorously conceived interplay of sculpture and drawing at the Kunstraum in Munich. In three consecutive rooms, he supplemented found materials-such as wood or steel-with identical elements to create geometrically closed forms. These sculptural arrangements were further developed in drawings: Rückriem abstracted the floor plans of the exhibition rooms into squares and superimposed them with diagonals and circles. This analysis gave rise to the present edition, which functions as a conceptual summary: it translates the spatial interventions into a systematic sequence of images that makes the process of measurement, supplementation and geometric transformation comprehensible and continues the formal logic of the exhibition in a serial structure.
