Signiert und nummeriert. - Stellenweise leichte Griffspuren, unterer rechter Rand punktuell leicht bestoßen und mit kleinem Randeinriss (ca. 0,5 cm), ganz punktuell winziger Braunfleck, insgesamt sehr gut. Prachtvoller Druck der großformatigen Darstellung, mit Rand.

Online - Moderne und zeitgenössische Kunst – Eines von 150 Exemplaren. - Jahresgabe für den Westfälischen Kunstverein Münster, 1971. - "Yard" zählt zu Kaprows berühmtestem Environment und gilt als ein Schlüsselwerk seines Schaffens. Vielfach in unterschiedlichen, ortsbezogenen Varianten reinstalliert, entstand es ursprünglich 1961 als begehbarer Kunstraum im Innehof der Martha Jackson Gallery. Diesen bedeckte der Künstler mit unzähligen alten Autoreifen, kreuz und quer in mehreren Lagen übereinander geworfen. Die Galerie wandelte sich zum realen Recyclinghof, der Autoreifen zum symbolbeladenen Werk- und Wertstoff der Kunst. Kaprow ermutigte Besucher aktiv an dem Environment teilzuhaben, er sagte "so step right in". Unser Blatt bleibt als emblematische Reminiszenz, die die zunächst banale Lebensrealität in den Raum der Kunst holt.

Signed and numbered. - Slight handling traces in spots, isolated slight bumping on lower right margin as well as small marginal tear (ca. 0.5 cm), very isolated tiny brown stain, all in all very good. Splendid impression of the large-format depiction, with margin. - One of 150 copies. - Annual gift by Westfälischer Kunstverein Munster, 1971. - Yard, as one of Kaprow's most famous environments, has been re-installed many times in different, site-specific variations. It was originally created in 1961 as a walk-in art space in the courtyard of the Martha Jackson Gallery.
