Jeremy. 2019. Poliertes Acryl auf Corian-Sockel (Kunstharz-Stein-Mischung). Ca. 22,7 x 7,7 x 0,5 cm. Unterhalb auf dem Stand signiert und nummeriert. In Orig.-Box. - Vereinzelt ganz leicht angestaubt, insgesamt sehr gut. Prachtvolle, klarkantige Arbeit in monochrom ausdrucksstarker Präsenz.
Pop Art – Eines von nur 25 Exemplaren. - Aus der Serie "Statuettes & Wall Pieces". - Gesamthöhe mit Sockel ca. 35,7 cm. - Opie zählt seit etwa vier Jahrzehnten zu den bedeutendsten Vertretern der englischen Gegenwartskunst. Mit seiner stilisierten Formensprache verwandelt er alltägliche Momente in eine reduzierte, wenngleich unverwechselbare Bildsprache aus Umrissen und Linien mit hohem Wiedererkennungswert. Er "... will die Dinge herunterbrechen, auf was sie tatsächlich sind ...". Zentrales Thema in seinem Schaffen ist die Erörterung von Bewegung und Zeit. Das Fortschreiten zeichnet einen temporären Prozess und den Lauf der Dinge fest. verkörpert im menschlichen Dasein.

Progress marks a temporary process and the course of events embodied in human existence.

Framed tickets are shipped exclusively by a shipping company due to the risk of breakage. Postal shipping is only carried out at the express request and risk of the buyer.
