Sisterly. 1971. Farbserigraphie auf Chromolux-Velin. 60 x 80 cm. Signiert und nummeriert. - Ecken teils minimal gestaucht, Kanten blass gebräunt und mit punktuellen, kaum sichtbaren Bestoßungen. Insgesamt sehr gut. Ausgezeichneter Druck der bildfüllenden Komposition mit frischer Farbwirkung.

Werner Berges und Galerie Walther, Düsseldorf. - In Sisterly von Werner Berges aus dem Jahr 1971 greift der Künstler seine charakteristische Bildsprache auf: klare Konturen, separierte Farbflächen und eine figürliche Darstellung, die zugleich Symbol und Bildzeichen ist. Motivisch spielt das Werk mit dem Thema der Schwesterlichkeit und verwandelt die Darstellung mit Portraitcharakter in eine formale Synthese aus Pop Art und ikonischer Grafik.
