Lot 396 Henry Moore. Woman Seated on Fireside …

Woman Seated on Fireside Stool. 1973. Lithographie in Hellgrau und Dunkelviolett auf Arches-Velin (m.Wz.). 31 x 16,9 cm (63,3 x 50 cm). Signiert und gewidmet. - Sehr wenige leichte Griffspuren, Papier in Außenrändern technikbedingt ganz leicht gewellt, am rechten Blattrand sehr wenige, kaum sichtbare horizontale Knickspuren, im unteren Blattdrittel blasser, kleiner Fleck sowie punktueller Braunfleck, verso Spuren eh. Montierung, nach recto teils leicht durchschlagend, oben und unten mittig sehr blasse Fingerflecken, insgesamt sehr gut. Prachtvoller Druck mit breitem Rand.

Britische Moderne – Cramer 311. - Eines von 10 gewidmeten Probedrucken außerhalb der Auflage. - Druck bei Curwen Prints Ltd, London, verso mit deren Stempel. Hrsg.v. Fischer Fine Art Ldt, ebd. - Selten.

British Post War – Lithograph in light grey and dark purple on Arches wove paper (with watermark). Signed and dedicated. - Very few slight handling marks, paper due to technique slightly buckled in outer margins, very few, hardly visible horizontal crease marks on right margin, faint, small stain as well as tiny brown stain in lower third, verso traces from previous mounting, partly slightly seeping through onto recto, very faint finger stains at top and bottom, all in all very good. Splendid impression with wide margins. - One of 10 dedicated proof prints aside the edition. Print by Curwen Prints Ltd, London, with their stamp on the verso. Publ. by Fischer Fine Art Ltd, London, ibid. - Rare.
