o.T. (Kreuzung in Blau und Gelb). 1999. Diptychon. Je Eitempera auf Leinwand. Je 72 x 79,5 cm. Verso auf der Leinwand je signiert und datiert. - Nur vereinzelt mit minimaler Bereibung in den Kanten. Insgesamt sehr gut. Ausgesprochen farbintensive und nahezu meditativ anmutende Arbeit.

Zeitgenössische Kunst – Provenienz: Aus dem Nachlass der Künstlerin. - In ihrer Werkphase der Kreuzungen (1990er bis frühe 2000er Jahre) entwickelt Angelik Riemer ihre Bildsprache, in welcher Farbe als zentrales Ausdrucksmittel fungiert, noch einmal weiter. Sie wählt überwiegend Rot und Gelb und setzt diese als Hauptakteure vor das für sie übliche tiefe Pariser Blau, was zu lebendigen und spannungsreichen Farbdialogen führt. Charakteristisch ist die Sichtbarkeit des Malprozesses: Die breiten Pinselstreifen bleiben bewusst erkennbar und verleihen den Werken eine gestische Unmittelbarkeit. Die Überlagerungen und Farbdurchdringungen verweisen auf das Prinzip der Kreuzung sowohl formal als auch konzeptuell und verbinden malerische Präsenz mit Transparenz und Bewegung.

Contemporary Art – Untitled (Crossing in Blue and Yellow). 1999. Two-part work. Egg tempera on canvas. Signed and dated on the reverse of each canvas. - Only a few minor spots with rubbing on the edges. Overall in very well preserved condition. Exceptionally colour-intense almost meditative work. - Provenance: From the artist's estate. - In her 'Criss Cross' phase (1990s to early 2000s), Angelika Riemer further developed her pictorial language, in which colour functions as the main medium of expression. She mainly chose red and yellow and combined them as the central elements with her usual deep Parisian blue, resulting in lively and tense colour dialogues. A characteristic feature is the visibility of the painting process: the broad brushstrokes remain deliberately recognisable and add a gestural immediacy to the works. The overlays and colour intersections refer to the principle of crossing both formally and conceptually, combining painterly presence with transparency and movement.
