Zeitgenössische Kunst – Entstanden anlässlich der Eröffnung von "Damien Hirst: Requiem" im Pinchuk Art Center, Kiew, Ukraine am 25. bis 26. April 2009 (Stempel verso). - Hirst zählt die Spin Paintings zu seinen liebsten Werkgruppen: Ihre positiv verstandene Kindlichkeit steht für ihn in direktem Zusammenhang mit spielerischer Energie und stetigem Schaffensdrang.

Contemporary Art – Acrylic on wove paper. Signed on the reverse, with artist's blind stamp and gallery stamp. - Some studio marks on verso, minimally wavy due to technique. Very good overall. Expressive and colour-intense work in characteristic format. - Created on the occasion of the opening of 'Damien Hirst: Requiem' at the Pinchuk Art Centre, Kiev, Ukraine, on 25-26 April 2009 (stamp on the reverse). - Hirst considers the Spin Paintings to be among his favourite groups of works: for him, their positively understood childishness is directly related to their playful energy and constant creative drive.
