Zeitgenössische Kunst – Gundula Bleckmanns künstlerische Praxis kennzeichnet sich durch ein abstrakt-geometrisches Formenvokabular und deren Abwandlungen aus. Ihre Kompositionen resultieren aus dem Bestreben, formale Ordnung mit sinnlich-intuitiven Akzenten zu vereinen, wodurch eine Balance zwischen Form und Farbe entsteht. Technisch arbeitet sie fast ausschließlich mit Eitempera und erzeugt somit weiche, fast pudrige Farbübergänge. Ihre Bilder strahlen eine stille Intensität aus, die fast meditativ wirkt und zur kontemplativen Betrachtung einladen.
