Geometrische Abstraktion – Seltene Arbeit aus dem Frühwerk. Das vorliegende Werk ist eine Gouache, die ein dynamisches, spiralförmiges Motiv zeigt, das sich durch ineinanderlaufende, farbige Schwünge in Blau, Violett und Grün auszeichnet. Die Komposition ist geometrisch klar gebaut und spielt offensichtlich mit dem Prinzip der Spirale, wobei die Proportionen und die Teilung der Fläche an den Goldenen Schnitt erinnern. Die Farbflächen sind sorgfältig ineinander verschlungen und erzeugen eine starke visuelle Bewegung, die nach innen zum Zentrum und nach außen in die Bildfläche strömt. Die Spirale wird von zarten Linien begleitet und erhält so eine mathematische, zugleich emotionale Komponente.
