Jahrhundertwende – Erste Ausgabe von Tichys Sammlung von erotischen Jugendstilzeichnungen. - Gyula Tichy (1879-1920) war ein ungarischer Maler und Grafiker, der stark von den Werken Aubry Beardsleys beeinflusst war. Er studierte an der Akademie der Schönen Künste in Budapest und anschließend an einer privaten Kunstschule in München. "Egy tusos üveg meséi" ist seine bekannteste Sammlung grafischer Werke.

Fin de Siecle – Hungary. - Art Nouveau. - 40 plates with full-page illsutrations. Original cardboard, bound with two silk ribbons. (Slightly stained and bumped on the edges. One larger brown spot on spine.) - In good condition. - First edition of Tichy's collection of erotic, Art Nouveau drawings. - Gyula Tichy (1879-1920) was a Hungarian painter and graphic artist, strongly influenced by the works of Aubry Beardsley. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest and then at a private art school in Munich. "Egy tusos üveg meséi" is his most famous collection of graphical works.
