o.T. (Kopf vor schwarzem Grund). 1989. Öl auf Masonit. 104 x 83 cm. Signiert und datiert. Gerahmt. - Mit leichter Oberflächenanstaubung. Insgesamt sehr gut. In kräftigem Pinselstrich erfasste, teils pastos strukturierte Komposition, die Farben in frischer Erhaltung und leuchtend.

Ostdeutsche Kunst – Borchers studierte von 1979 bis 1984 an der Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst Leipzig und arbeitete im Anschluss bis 1986 in den dortigen Graphischen Werkstätten. Von 1986 bis 1989 war er Meisterschüler bei Arno Rink. In dieser Zeit teilte er sich ein Atelier mit Neo Rauch und Axel Krause. 1990 erhielt er ein Reisestipendium, das ihn nach Italien und London führte. Zahlreiche weitere Reisen schlossen sich an. Ausgehend von klassischen Landschaftsmotiven entwickelte er eine eigenständige, organisch-abstrakte Bildsprache. Der Künstler lebt und arbeitet in Leipzig.
